Returns and Refunds
Policy Information
Kate Makes Things is dedicated to our customer service and providing the most positive shopping experience for all our shoppers. If, for any reason, you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please contact k8makesthings@gmail.com to request a return.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Discounted or customized items are final sale and not eligible for return.

Full priced items in original condition are returnable for refund or exchange within 7 days of receipt.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
We recommend using an insured courier such as UPS, FedEx or USPS. Kate Makes Things is not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)

Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error are not eligible for return.
Shipping and Delivery
Please allow between 3 days to a week on top of shipping for your piece to arrive. Most orders are ready to ship within 2-3 days of ordering, but some require additional time in production. Please allow for delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

All orders are packaged in a sanitized area and sit untouched for 48 hours after sterilizing the exterior of all packaging. We believe in science and in stopping the spread of COVID-19 and take extra precautions to protect ourselves and each other.
